हिंदी दिवस पर किया विद्यार्थियों को हिंदी भाषा के प्रति जागरूक

हमारी मातृ-भाषा, राजभाषा, जन-जन की प्यारी भाषा हिंदी को जब विद्यार्थी इतने प्रेम और उत्साह से पढ़ते हैं तो मन प्रफुल्लित हो उठता है, झूम उठता है।  हिन्दी के महत्व को नज़र रखते हुए तथा छात्रों में उत्सुकता बढ़ाने के लिए प्रिसीडियम स्कूल की कक्षा एक के छात्रों ने हिंदी दिवस मनाया । स्पेशल असेम्बली द्वारा हिंदी महत्व को दर्शाया गया ।  राष्ट्रभाषा का गौरव और बढ़ाने के लिए, प्रीसिडियम  में हिन्दी दिवस पर हिंदी विषय से संबंधित अध्यापिका द्वारा  ऑनलाइन कक्षा  में अनेक प्रकार की मनोरंजक गतिविधियाँ करवाई गईं जैसे बताओ  कौन  हूँ मैं, फलों के नाम , रंगों और सब्जियों के नाम, समान तुक वाले शब्द, दोहे । विद्यार्थियों ने इन रचनात्मक गतिविधियों में बढ़-चढ़ कर हिस्सा लिया| इस गतिविधि के साथ एक और गतिविधि करवाई गई जिसमे बच्चों ने अक्षरों का खेल पिटारा (फ़्लैश कार्ड) की मदद से मात्राओं, स्वरों और व्यंजनों को जोड़कर वाक्य बनाए।  इस गतिविधि  के माध्यम से शब्दों का क्रम एवं उनके प्रयोग को सुदृढ़ करवाया गया। सभी छात्रों ने बढ़चढ़कर गतिविधियों का आनंद लिया।

LITERACY DAY: STUDENTS TALK ABOUT THE PERTINENT ROLE OF EDUCATION

Literacy is a human right and the basis of all knowledge. Presidium celebrated Literacy Day during virtual classes on Monday. The concept of literacy was elaborated among students in the classes. Literacy is the prime requisite for learning and plays a vital role in restraining population growth, curbing poverty, establishing gender impartiality, and a bright promise for growth. Students were encouraged to opine about the significance of the day. Students drew posters and wrote a poem to highlight the need for education. Students discussed their aspirations and future goals with their teachers.

PRESIDIANS PLEDGE TO KEEP THE SPIRIT OF SPORTSMANSHIP ALIVE!

“Talents win games, But teamwork and intelligence win championships.”
To commemorate the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand, National Sports Day is celebrated across the country on 29 August. This auspicious day was celebrated at Presidium to spread awareness on the importance of sports and physical activities in every individual’s life. The students talked about the significance of various sports like Cricket, Table-Tennis, Chess, etc in one’s life. Pledge was taken in the end to keep up the name of their school high and to ignite the spark of sportsmanship in every child. Various sports activities of fitness training were organized in the virtual classes to develop the team spirit, leadership, and sportsmanship qualities among the students. A beautiful message that Holistic development of a student is possible only when he/she is physically fit and emotionally balanced.

PRESIDIANS MARK WOMEN’S EQUALITY DAY WITH A SPECIAL ASSEMBLY!

"Feminism isn't about making women stronger. Women are already strong; it's about changing the way the world perceives that strength."

International Women's Equality Day was celebrated by Presidians with great excitement and zeal. A theoretical skit was presented by Grade -6 students in which the journey of a girl was displayed from childhood until she became a doctor. Students made everyone realize the power of women. The assembly left a significant impact on everyone with a beautiful message highlighting the need to respect women and look into their every need and fulfill them regularly. In the end, they wrapped up the assembly by saying that 'We wish that one day every woman in the country will be empowered in true means.'

PRESIDIANS JOYFULLY CELEBRATE THE BIRTH OF GANPATI BAPPA

Ganesh Chaturthi is observed to offer invocation to Lord Ganesha- the God of intellect and wisdom, patron of the arts and the sciences, and the remover of obstacles. Presidium celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with much fun and fanfare virtually. On this auspicious day, the students were dressed in traditional attire. The assembly commenced with Guru Vandana, followed by a brief introduction to the festival. The choir then presented a soulful rendition, followed by a skit that highlighted the importance of using one’s mind and intellect, of which Ganesha is a repository, as against just strength. In the end, the students enjoyed the creative dance to “Ganpati Mashup.” It was a joyous morning for students and teachers alike as they came together to celebrate one of India’s most popular festivals amidst excitement and entertainment.

PRESIDIANS LEARN ABOUT THE VARIOUS CHARACTERISTICS OF PLANTS!

Science is simply the word we use to describe a method of organizing our curiosity. As it is rightly said, science activities ignite a student's inner scientist. Students of Presidium under the theme 'Getting to know the Plants' of Grade-6 conducted various activities in Science to identify plants' varied characteristics. These activities helped students understand the differences between plants of different kinds. They observed the stem of the various plants, looked at the place from where branches appeared and classified them. This activity helped them conclude that branches appear at the ground in some plants while some plant branches are at some height. They learned about leaf venation as they delved through the various stages of the plant life cycle, starting from seed and ultimately to death.

PRESIDIANS ENHANCE THEIR OBSERVATION SKILLS WITH PBL ACTIVITY

Curd is a staple dish used in almost every household. Under the theme 'Food Preservation' in PBL, students of Presidium conducted an activity of setting curd at their home with their parents' help. This activity's objective was to investigate whether using different yogurt starter cultures affects the yogurt that is made. Through this activity, students used their observation skills and explored the causes of changes in food items when left open. They concluded that the bacteria 'Lactobacillus' is essential for making yogurt or curd. They also resolved that lactic acid causes the milk to become more solid or gel-like. In the end, the students concluded that living microorganisms present could turn plain old milk into a yummy yogurt treat.

PATRIOTIC FERVOUR AT ITS BEST ON THE 74TH INDEPENDENCE DAY

Presidium celebrated it's first-ever Virtual Independence Day & Investiture Ceremony to remember the contribution of the brave individuals who sacrificed their lives and an Investiture Ceremony, which witnessed the proud coronation of young leaders as the members of the student council. The day was commenced by Live Virtual Flag hoisting, which was followed by a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem. The anchors welcomed the guests by Mangal Gaan choir. The main highlight of the day was the small play on 'Atma Nirbhar Bharat,' that talked about the significance of Independence Day and our great freedom fighters like Rani Lakshmi Bai, Mangal Pandey, and Shaheed Bhagat Singh. The students presented energetic dance performances "Teri mitti mei mil jawa", Des Rangeela & Ae Watan dipped in patriotism.

PRESIDIANS CELEBRATE BIRTH OF BAL GOPAL WITH CHEERFUL INNOCENCE

"The way you can conquer me is through Love, and there I am gladly conquered." In order to reflect on the above-given lesson of Bhagavad Gita, Presidium celebrated the birthday of Lord Krishna with full fervour and devotion. Dressed as Radha-Krishna, the students gave a traditional touch to the entire celebration elevating the festive spirit. They performed the act on 'Krishna Janam', illustrating that whenever there will be a dominance of violence, 'He' will reincarnate to destroy the evil and save the good. It was nonetheless brought to life by the scintillating dance performance that represented his 'Leela' and depicted the importance of the occasion. The students also presented a beautiful bhajan 'Choti Choti Gaiyan.' The celebration ended by offering homage to Lord Krishna through Shri Krishna aarti.

Presidians of Grade 4 enjoyed a range of interactive activities that helped them understand the incredible world of animals and birds. Students explored the strange, odd, and funny information about animals and birds. They also searched the facts and other interesting features of animals like hibernations and their super senses. They presented this specially-curated information on animals with their classmates by making charts and enriched their knowledge also. The activity made their experiences more profound and real.
