Ganesh Chaturthi is observed to offer invocation to Lord Ganesha- the God of intellect and wisdom, patron of the arts and the sciences, and the remover of obstacles. Presidium celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with much fun and fanfare virtually. On this auspicious day, the students were dressed in traditional attire. The assembly commenced with Guru Vandana, followed by a brief introduction to the festival. The choir then presented a soulful rendition, followed by a skit that highlighted the importance of using one’s mind and intellect, of which Ganesha is a repository, as against just strength. In the end, the students enjoyed the creative dance to “Ganpati Mashup.” It was a joyous morning for students and teachers alike as they came together to celebrate one of India’s most popular festivals amidst excitement and entertainment.
