The students of Presidium Pitampura celebrated the appreciation day to encourage students to express gratitude and appreciation. Showing gratitude is one of the simplest yet most powerful thing human can do for each other. Keeping this in mind, various activities were organised to acknowledge people who help us in day to day life like friends in school, parents, Grand-parents, teachers and helper staff. Leaders of tomorrow showed special gratitude towards Sparsh, an organization that not only serves humanity with the noblest thought but also spreads the message of empathy, generosity and liberality. Students shared their gratitude and regards by presenting badges to students, head gears to helpers, paper flowers to teachers, gratitude card to Sparsh and appreciation blooming messages for each other.

The whole of science is nothing more than a refinement of everyday thinking. Teachers and students celebrated the spirit of experimentation and learning by organising ‘Fun with Science’ activity. The theme of the activity was ‘The Health Fair’. A team of dentists was invited to sensitize students about tooth safety and basic hygiene. A dental check-up camp was also conducted for the students. A discussion was also held on the importance of balanced diet and including food that helps in growth of mind and body. Students also carried out a healthy food drive in the school. It was a great learning experience for everybody present.

Pollution is one of the major issues causing concern not only in India but across the world. To spread awareness on managing and controlling pollution Presidium Pitampura celebrated National Pollution Control Day. Students took pledge to create a pollution free earth and highlighted how ‘We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors. We borrow it from our children’. Slogans like, ‘Be a part of solution, not a part of pollution’ were raised by the students. Students were encouraged to follow practices like growing more trees, car-pooling and banning plastic bags. With an informative skit students urged everyone to stop polluting and start planting. A rally was carried out in the school where slogans were raised to sensitize people about the deteriorating state of earth.
