National Technology Day is celebrated every year on May 11 to highlight the achievements of engineers and scientists in the field of technology and science. This day marks India becoming the sixth nation to develop nuclear weapons after Pokhran nuclear tests in 1998. The day acts as a reminder of the country's technological advancements. Blessings of science and technology can't be ignored. Students of Presidium shared how technology has made their lives easy, comfortable, and enjoyable. They made posters to spread awareness about science and technology. They also talked about the contribution of various scientists. The primary purpose of this celebration was to create awareness about the importance of technology in the daily life of people and to inspire students to opt for science as a career.

Eid ul-Fitr is called the "Festival of Breaking the Fast," marking the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan. Presidians of Grade-3 commemorated the pious occasion of EID virtually. The celebration began with an informative presentation by students explaining the meaning, purpose, and importance of this festival. A poem was also recited by our students conveying the message of peace and harmony. They also marked this festival by performing prayers at their homes and enjoying this festival of love, care, forgiveness, and feasting with their loved ones. Our students also made traditional sweet dishes like Sheer Khurma, famous saviyaan with dates, Ras malai, kibbeh, and other festive dishes. The celebration culminated with a captivating dance performance by our young and dynamic Presidians.

The bond of a mother and her child is inexplicable. To honour this bond of affection and love, Presidians celebrated Mother’s Day with great zeal and merriment. Students of Grades 1 and 2 organised a fun filled assembly to express their gratitude towards their mothers’ pure, selfless and unconditional love. Gratitude, appreciation and acknowledgement filled the environment as the little ones dedicated cards, special songs and dances to their mothers. Each of them devotedly spoke about how much they love their mothers. It was a heart-warming scene to witness children speaking whole-heartedly, with such ardour and innocence.

Rabindranath Tagore’s birth anniversary was observed at Presidium virtually with great enthusiasm and zeal. Presidians across Grades 1-7 paid homage to the legendary Bengali poet. Events like portrait making and recitations were organized in order to edify Presidians about Tagore’s exceptional literary career and contribution to Bengali literature. The enthusiasm of all the participants was noteworthy and was an apt reflection of the true spirit of Presidians.

सांप सीढ़ी खेल बनाने के लिए अध्यापिका द्वारा दिए गए निर्देशानुसार विद्यार्थियों ने स्वयं के लिए सांप सीढ़ी खेल तैयार किया व सहपाठियों के साथ खेल खेलने के उपरांत विशेषण की पुनरावृत्ति पर चर्चा की गई। जिसमें विशेषण के सभी भेद को दोहराया गया। पुनरावृत्ति कार्य के पश्चात शिक्षिका ने बच्चों के साथ सांप सीढ़ी का मजेदार खेल खेला।

Cell is the smallest structural, biological and functional unit of an organism. Presidians of Grade 7 built an understanding of the cell's inner structure through an interesting activity. Students created drawings of their vision of the internal composition of a cell. Their drawing encouraged them to access their prior knowledge and visually represent their thoughts. This activity summarised the learning experiences of the learners during the lesson and helped them gain a better understanding of cellular structure.

Dance not only gives us an opportunity to express our thoughts and feelings, but also keeps us physically fit and mentally sound. World Dance Day is celebrated all around the world on April 29, to entertain and educate students about this extraordinary art form, making them more appreciative of the world of dance. Young Presidians enthused with the joy of dancing celebrated this day with exceptional zeal and ardour. They actively participated in a special assembly conducted by students of Grade 1-7 to bring forth the importance of dance in our lives. The virtual assembly came to life with mesmerizing dance performances of varied dance forms such as, Kathak, Western, Hip-Hop, Bollywood, etc. The event was undoubtedly a feast for the eyes and balm for the soul.

Keeping with the tradition of celebrating all festivals with fervour and gaiety and introducing the Presidians to their rich culture and heritage, a special virtual assembly was conducted on Baisakhi by Grade 2 students. They presented a wonderful play on the celebration of the Baisakhi festival. Some of them were dressed as farmer-folk and vigorously sang the folk song “Kheta di mukk gayi raakhi…o jatta aayi baisakhi…” Others enacted a conversation to explain the significance of Baisakhi and why it is celebrated. They also explained how and why Baisakhi is considered to be a New Year in Punjab. Some students articulated how Baisakhi is popular in Assam as Rongali Bihu, Bhogali Bihu, Baisakh Bihu, and in Kerala, it is known as Vishu. Some girls danced to the beats of Gidda and sang along. The assembly concluded with some of our boys broke into Bhangra as their classmates heartily clapped to the beat.
