World Day of International Justice is an international day recognizing the need to promote social justice, which includes efforts to tackle issues such as poverty, exclusion, gender equality, unemployment, human rights, and social protections. To remind everyone that it’s our responsibility to ensure the effective delivery of justice and redress for victims of the gravest crimes, Presidians celebrated this day. They expressed their feelings and said that there may be times when we feel powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest against it. They enlightened everyone with the significance of the day by drawing various posters. They unite all those who wish to support justice, promote victims' rights, and help prevent crimes that threaten the peace, security, and well-being of the world. STUDENTS DEVELOP THEIR LANGUAGE SKILLS WITH WORD READING ACTIVITY
08-07-2021
"Reading requires children to make meaning out of print. An important stage in learning to read is the mastery of 3 letter words."
Reading improves vocabulary and language skills; children learn new words as they read. Subconsciously, they absorb information on how to structure sentences and how to use words and other language features effectively in their writing and speaking. It helps them develop language and listening skills and prepares them to understand the written word. They need to know the different sounds in spoken language and should be able to connect those sounds to written letters in order to decipher words. To strengthen this a game Word Pops was organized for Grade Prep Presidians wherein students linked sounds with words. This involved thinking about what sound a word starts with, saying the sound out aloud, and then recognizing how that sound is represented by a letter. The aim of the game was achieved as children were able to see a letter and then say the sound it represented out aloud by decoding it & then blending the sound and spoke the whole word.
