This Father’s Day, Presidians joined together and put forth a beautiful array of activities to salute all fathers for their never-ending love and support .Our Presidians made cards and badges . They also prepared a dance number. The words of appreciation and encouragement received from the fathers are a testimony to the success of today’s event.

Activities like Science riddles and brain teasers are exciting and educational that help students foster their skills. Science riddles can help create a passion for science and can add to the fun of learning scientific concepts. Students of Grade-5 participated with full zeal in one such activity and created beautiful riddles and shared many interesting facts related to animals under the topic 'ANIMALS.' This activity encouraged students to solve science riddles in an efficient way and to think outside of the box. These riddles also helped students remember important science facts - it's a no-brainer! It also provided an opportunity for lateral learning and problem-solving; kids developed new, creative ways to think.

World Ocean Day is observed on 8 June every year. The oceans are the lungs of our planet; they provide oxygen for breathing, the major source of food & medicine, and a critical part of the biosphere. Keeping this in mind, Presidians celebrated World Ocean Day. The students expressed their thoughts by making posters and drawing under the theme “Clean Ocean Drive.” They discussed the root causes of dirt in the oceans and measures to clean them. The students became even more enthralled to find the many negative impacts caused by us humans on the environment and ocean. The children pledged to relentlessly combat to keep local beaches free from hyacinth and plastic.

World Environment Day is celebrated on 5 June every year for encouraging awareness and action for the protection of our environment. Students of Grade 1-7 found creative and interactive ways to celebrate the Day by transforming their surroundings into different natural environments. Students celebrated World Environment Day under the theme 'SAVE NATURE' and participated with great enthusiasm. The students learned all about their environment and then ventured out into nature to collect materials for their activities. They paired themselves for various activities like growing a new plant, posters on No pollution, making Bird feeders, stop wasting food, etc. This Day sensitized the children and their parents to their surroundings and made them learn the importance of a clean and green environment, which is important for their healthy body and mind.

What better way to enjoy and welcome the Summer break other than having some fun under the sun! The students of Presidium had an exciting day participating in the event Summer Bonanza. The event's highlight was the students enjoying in their swimwear, running to wet themselves, and playing with water. They also enjoyed different activities that were planned, such as making fruit salad, lemonade, and getting colorful tattoos painted on their hands. The day was filled with treats, and they relished ice cream whilst sitting under umbrellas in the summer sun, mouth-watering fruit salad, drinks, etc.

Buddha Purnima commemorates and celebrates the birth and enlightenment of Lord Buddha. Presidians of Grades 5-7 seized the opportunity to pay tribute to Lord Buddha on the pious day of Buddha Purnima. To celebrate the spirit of this occasion, students created alluring posters of Lord Buddha that preached the values of love, peace and kindness. Presidians were familiarised with the rituals observed by Buddhists and monks on the pious day. Overall, it was a great day as students pledged to imbibe the teachings of Lord Buddha in their lives.

The greenhouse effect is a process that occurs when gases in Earth's atmosphere trap the Sun's heat. Students of Grade-7 explored and learned how greenhouse gases temporarily trap heat within Earth's atmosphere, warming our planet via the greenhouse effect. Also, through this activity, students were introduced to the natural greenhouse effect of Earth's atmosphere. Students also vary the conditions to observe and measure the changes in the air temperature, leading to an understanding of how the reflective and absorptive surfaces on Earth play a role in the greenhouse effect.

Good Habits, develop good manners. Having a good habit is like having an essential life skill, and childhood is an exciting time when children begin to learn about themselves and the world around them. Presidians of Grade 1 built an understanding of cleanliness through different fun and recreation activities. They learned about different body parts, explored ways to stay healthy, and understood the need for the right amount of healthy food with the right amount of physical activity. Also, they promised to take the responsibility to take care of their health by inculcating healthy habits. They concluded that one should keep himself or herself and their surroundings clean to stay healthy and happy.
