Being told you were appreciated is the most simple and uplifting thing one can hear. Appreciation Day was one such day where all the teachers planned various activities to make our students feel special and acknowledged them for all the good things they do. Grade 2 children celebrated Appreciation Day by showing gratitude towards the helper staff. They made beautiful badges and wrote thanking messages on them. This activity inculcated kindness and gratitude in our children, and being empathetic towards them. ENGLISH ACTIVITY EXPOSES STUDENTS TO DEGREES OF ADJECTIVES

An adjective is a word that modifies a noun or a pronoun. Every adjective has three degrees which express the intensity of adjective in increasing order, for example, big-bigger-biggest. Comparative degree shows property of one thing in comparison to only one thing. Words like ‘than’ and ‘to’ are used for this. A superlative adjective is used to show a property of one thing in comparison to many other things. A superlative degree expresses highest intensity. An activity related to degrees of adjectives was conducted in grade 4 where students related different sentences with the degrees of adjectives using concrete objects.

With monsoon hitting North India a little earlier this year, it was a sigh of relief from the heat for the people. Rains that bring down the temperatures & increase the joy but they are also the prime cause of diseases that arise due to stagnant water. Dengue being the most vital of all. Students of grade 6 carried out Monsoon & Dengue Awareness at Pitampura branch. They highlighted on the causes, symptoms and prevention of dengue fever. 'Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality'.The Investiture ceremony of Presidium Pitampura for the session 2019-20 was held with great pomp and dignity in a special ceremony. The event was presided over by the honourable Chairperson Mrs.Sudha Gupta. It was conducted with the high degree of earnestness and passion.The ceremony signified the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly invested office bearers. The elected Leaders’ profiles were called on the stage and were conferred with badges and sashes by Honourable Chairperson Sudha ma'am. Donning the mantle of accountability, they also pledged to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities. The chairperson congratulated them and admonished them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. Students of Presidium Pitampura held an assembly by raising their voice and doing their bit. They shared various reasons as to why the Lord of jungles is on the verge of extinction. PATRIOTS OF PRESIDIUM MARK KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS

On 26 July 1999, India successfully took command of the high outposts which had been lost to Pakistani intruders. 26 July is celebrated as Kargil Vijay Diwas in India. Students of Presidium Pitampura held an assembly to pay tribute to the brave soldiers of this mission. A heart touching skit showing the unconditional love of soldiers for the nation was performed by our proud patriots.It was followed by a dance performance by children of grade 3. The students expressed their pride in belonging to such a wonderful nation and thanked the armed forces for safeguarding it against all odds.
