Earth is made up of several concentric layers with one inside another, namely, crust, mantle, and core. The Earth’s crust is made up of various types of rocks with different colours, sizes, and textures. There are three types of rocks: igneous rock, sedimentary rock, and metamorphic rock. Students were explained about the Earth's interior related to its interior composition's huge size and nature. They explained the three layers of the Earth, Crust, Mantle, and Core. Presidians used their imagination skills and creativity to their optimum level to reflect their understanding of the Earth layers and how the Rock Cycle works. They came up with extraordinary 3D projects, charts, models, etc. to showcase their mastery over the content. The entire activity gave hands-on experience, and the students had great fun.

Poster Making is a creative process that requires exceptional skills, thoughts, and practice. It actively engages students in their learning process. Presidium organized an online Poster Making competition for Grade-5. The topics given were Ram Mandir, Incredible India, Covid-19 vaccination, Gold Medalist Neeraj Chopra, and Online classes in Lockdown. The main thrust was to stir the imagination and provide a pedestal for innovation, expression, and aesthetics. Students were able to visually represent the key points and elaborate on the same which facilitates their retention and recall of the events and facts. The hidden talent of the students was truly reflected in their posters.

The beauty of Mathematics lies when children enjoy doing it, understand, and get involved in practical dealing with numbers. So activities are great ways to engage and explore the topics. Learning mathematics is fun at Presidium school. An activity on Odd and Even Numbers was conducted in Grade 2 through online classes wherein students displayed the attribute of being thinkers while reflecting upon their understanding of the 'Even and Odd’ numbers through a hands-on activity. They also displayed good thinking and fine motor skills while placing the kidney beans on the tens frame. Students wholeheartedly enjoyed this activity.

Sports Day is a very exciting and happy day that every student looks forward to. Presidium celebrated sports day by spreading awareness on the importance of sports and physical activities in every individual’s life. The students talked about the significance of various sports like Cricket, Table-Tennis, Chess, etc, in one’s life. Pledge was taken in the end to keep up the name of their school high and to ignite the spark of sportsmanship in every student. Various sports activities of fitness training were organized in the virtual classes to develop the team spirit, leadership, and sportsmanship qualities among the students. A beautiful message that the holistic development of a student is possible only when he/she is physically fit and emotionally balanced was given to the students.

To promote and develop sensitivity of students towards the chemical nature of different substances that they eat, a science activity, "Natural Indicators(Acid/Base)” was organised for G-7 students. The activity aimed to identify the nature of substances as acidic or basic through natural indicators like litmus paper, turmeric, China rose, etc. Students observed the effects of different indicators on different substances. They used litmus paper, turmeric, red cabbage, china rose as an indicator and tested substances like lemon, soap, detergent, vinegar, etc and understood the acidic or basic nature of the substances. This activity gave a hand on experience to students and they explored the nature of many substances.

Rajiv Gandhi Akshay Urja Diwas is celebrated on 20th August, every day since 2004. The objective of this program is to generate mass awareness and popularisation of the need, benefits and uses of renewable energy devices and systems in all spheres of life. To explore and celebrate the power of Renewable sources of energy- Akshay Urja Diwas was organized in Presidium. Students of Grade 2 participated with great enthusiasm in a vast array of activities. Different sources of energy were represented by creating colorful posters, slogans, and experiments. Akshay Urja Diwas gave our young learners a different approach towards the benefit of Renewable sources of energy, their concepts, and their application. It also helped to understand the importance of Akshay Urja for the future development of our country. Students pledged to switch to renewable energy sources and go green to ensure sustainable development.
