Presidium has always worked towards creating responsible global citizens by imparting values of humility and compassion. With these thoughts in mind, we organised a visit to the Sparsh special school for our young leaders of tomorrow. Students observed the day to day activities of the special children and learned about hard work and dedication. It was a memorable day for the students as they were infused with optimism, love and empathy for their new friends!

To celebrate the occasion of Republic Day, a special ceremony was organised wherein we witnessed great zeal and enthusiasm among the students as they brought out their patriotic side. Students were dressed in tricolor reminiscing the gallant deeds of the freedom fighters. The proceedings of the day commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony by honorable Chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta, Shri Duggal and Shri Wadhwa. Ma’am urged students to abide by the duties. The program showcasing the rich and varied heritage of the great Indian sub-continent, paying tribute to the brave soldiers and portrayal of the diversity in India ‘From Kashmir to Kanyakumari’. An extravagant Nukkad natak depicting the Right to education and an amalgamated recitation of corruption of constitution was an eye opener to all. 

Indian soldiers are role models for every Indian. To salute the Indian Army on the National Army Day students of Presidium Pitampura dedicated the school assembly to pay tribute to these indomitable guardians of our frontiers. The assembly was an amalgamation of dance,  song and enactment. It displayed the life of a soldier, from home to the battle ground.  The celebration commenced with paying homage to soldiers 'Tribute to Defense Heroes'. It was a spin thrilling performance by the students. Students felt proud to have the opportunity to show their gratitude to the Indian Army  - men who,  willingly and selflessly, are always ready to sacrifice their lives for the country and serve us with a smile

Mathematical skills are crucial for a wide array of analytical, technological, scientific, economic and soft skill applications. With an aim to train students to become adept users of mathematics and to appreciate its usefulness is a paramount for the future, Presidium Pitampura recently organised a ‘Mathematics Day’. Students participated in numerous activities, absorbing information and enjoying the stimulating exercise of the mind. Students made 3D shapes using Jodo straws and connectors. They played games like Sudoku, snakes and ladders and math relay race. Students used fractions, percentage, decimal numbers and their operations in these innovative games. Team work, responsibility, visualization, creativity, imagination and estimation were the key skills practiced by students.

The students of Presidium Pitampura recently celebrated the festival of Christmas with a special assembly. Students dressed in a festive attire presented the history behind this joyous festival with speeches and wonderful enactments. They also sang carols adding to the festive spirits. Towards the end of the assembly, students were delighted to receive sweets from Santa. It was a wonderful celebration of the festival of love and happiness.

Colors play an important role in our lives. Colors can sway thinking, change actions and cause reactions. As a powerful form of communication, colors are irreplaceable. To foster the love and appreciation for colours, Presidium Pitampura dedicated the day to creativity by solemnizing an event, Rangeen Khidkiya- Creative Colours on Canvas. All the students and teachers were out of the classrooms drawing and colouring with each other. The aura not only inculcated the beauty for colours but also showcased the love and harmony in each one of us. The energy that flowed in the entire Presidium Pitampura today was majestic, magnetic and peaceful.

Stories always give wings to our imagination and take us to places beyond the boundaries of physical world. While competitions are the best way to boost the confidence in children. Keeping this in mind, a storytelling competition was conducted for Grades Nursery and Prep. Children narrated stories like ‘The five friends’, ‘Thirsty crow’, ‘The lion and the mouse’, etc. Some of them were dressed up as characters and presented their story with the use of facial expressions and voice modulation. To captivate the audience's attention, the little narrators of Presidium used props like puppets. Each and every story was recited with a moral. The oratory and presentation skills of tiny tots were outstanding.

‘Today’s energy wastage is tomorrow’s energy shortage’. Presidium Pitampura recently celebrated the National Energy Conservation Day. 'Think Green, Do Your Part, Conserve Energy' was the message of the day. The students brilliantly created awareness about energy supplies, that are limited and to maintain a good quality of life & to save energy for our future generations, we need to conserve them efficiently. They talked about ways in which each and every one can contribute in conserving energy through skit, dance and mime act.

‘Sports make players into community leaders and teach them how to strive for a goal’. Sports and games are means of mental and physical growth. It helps in character building. Sports are an integral part of education. Education without sports is incomplete. To inculcate this thought, Presidium Pitampura recently conducted an enthusiastic Inter Club event “Fun with Sports”, for enriching the value of sports and teamwork. Each student displayed enormous passion and zeal to make sure that their club emerged victorious. Inter-club taekwondo, skating, chess and fun filled games were organised. Fun filled games amongst the teachers generated exuberance in the students as they cheered for their teachers. The only goal for the day was to create wonderful memories, which was achieved successfully.

‘Success is not always about winning but being happy with the achievements and abilities.’ The importance of sports and games in school encompasses more than just the benefit of physical activity. Increase in self-esteem and mental alertness make school sports and games necessary for students. The importance of sports has become even more relevant in current times, and Presidium, has a worked towards ensuring the same. We strive in providing proper facilities, dedicated instructors and time to help our students to pursue sports like Taekwondo. At the recently organised Sub-Junior Inter School Taekwondo Championship, our students of grade Nursery to 5 participated with complete dedication and enjoyed the social exposure. They brought laurels for the school and made us proud. The feeling of participation and sportsmanship engulfed everyone.
