‘Success is not always about winning but being happy with the achievements and abilities.’ The importance of sports and games in school encompasses more than just the benefit of physical activity. Increase in self-esteem and mental alertness make school sports and games necessary for students. The importance of sports has become even more relevant in current times, and Presidium, has a worked towards ensuring the same. We strive in providing proper facilities, dedicated instructors and time to help our students to pursue sports like Taekwondo. At the recently organised Sub-Junior Inter School Taekwondo Championship, our students of grade Nursery to 5 participated with complete dedication and enjoyed the social exposure. They brought laurels for the school and made us proud. The feeling of participation and sportsmanship engulfed everyone.
