Learning shapes not only helps students identify and organize visual information, but it also helps them learn skills in other curriculum areas including reading, math, and science. Teaching shapes to students is an important educational activity. The ability to recognize and describe shapes is a fundamental skill that provides a foundation for more advanced skills. Presidians of Grade 2 enjoyed the Shape activity and played a game "follow the instruction" in their virtual class. The students understand various shapes like cone, box, ball, and pipe. Students learned properties of various shapes by doing these activities. This activity aimed at helping the young Presidians to learn the basic properties of geometrical figures and it was indeed a fruitful experience for them.

Fraction is a building block for Math skills. To strengthen the skills of Mathematics, Presidians participated in a fascinating activity of fractions. They were introduced to fractions by connecting them to their prior knowledge. Students gave many examples of fractions from their real-life lives like equal slices of pizza, fruit, a bar of chocolate, etc. The teacher explained to the students that a fraction simply tells us how many parts of a whole we have. Students were also asked to bring different varieties of food items like pizza, burgers, chapati, etc. Through this activity they learned to identify the various wholes and their equal and unequal parts.

The French language is one of the acclaimed roman languages. To know any language, it is necessary to know its history and from where it is derived. It has been an official language of more than 25 countries. Some countries use French as a first or second language. To introduce some of the famous personalities of France who had major contributions in the evolution of the language and culture, an activity was conducted in Presidium grade 5, where our students made some placards to tell some interesting facts about them.

Dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, Basant Panchami marks the beginning of the Spring season in India and is also celebrated to worship Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom. Our little Presidians celebrated the day with great fervor and enthusiasm. 'Yellow color' – representative of spiritual knowledge, is given importance on Basant Panchami. Presidians came dressed up in yellow color attire, offered yellow-colored flowers to the Goddess, and also enjoyed yellow-colored food during an online class. They all assembled to pray and attain blessings from Goddess Saraswati to reach the epitome of knowledge. The assembly started with a beautiful Saraswati Vandana, followed by a dance performance on a Basant song. Students also enjoyed an activity during which they made beautiful posters.

World Cancer Day is an international day marked on 4 February to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. The day was celebrated in Presidium to create awareness about cancer, its symptoms, and prevention measures. A special assembly was organized to mark this day. Presidians delivered eloquent speeches and spread the message of including a protein-rich diet along with regular exercises as the most healthy cancer preventive measures. Students made posters to spread the message of curing and preventing this dreadful disease. Through their posters, they succeeded in making people aware that they can fight this disease with their willpower. A feeling of empathy was witnessed among the Presidians as they shared their experiences related to cancer patients.

Money skills are an essential component in any math curriculum. The concept of money can be used as a strategy to reinforce basic math in a more interesting and engaging way. Keeping this in mind a classroom activity was organized by Grade 2 Presidians at Presidium wherein our leaders of tomorrow made paper coins and currency notes to learn more about the concept of Money. An online shop was set up in class wherein students indulged in the practice of buying and selling goods and services. Through this activity, students learned about different denominations of coins and notes, and combined them to see how they can buy different items. In the meantime, they also learned necessary skills that they will use for the rest of their lives.

Competitions are organized to nurture intrinsic qualities and remove the fear of stage among students, which helps in personality development. Talent Hunt is an event that gives students a platform to represent their talents in any field. It helps students show their abilities and motivates them to come upfront and show their hidden potential. Presidium School organized the online Talent Hunt competition for the students of Grade- 6. Students participated enthusiastically and displayed their abilities magnificently. They showcased their skills and displayed their talent in poem recitation, singing and classical dance, acts, and music. The young talent, with their creative minds and innate caliber, were at their best.
