“India is known as a land of festivals and celebration, Lohri is one of them which is unique in its perception and significance.”

Festivals are the period of celebration and bring peace and joy to everyone. Lohri was celebrated at Presidium School with lots of zeal and enthusiasm. The mood was upbeat and the students were totally absorbed in the festive spirit of Lohri. Students celebrated the festival with exuberance and fanfare via a virtual platform. They wore traditional attire and were completely absorbed in the festive spirit. To mark the occasion, Presidians drew the Lohri scene. Through this activity, they were made aware of the significance of the festival. Lohri festival prompts people to be thankful for God’s provision and also encourages us to keep the tradition and culture alive in our festivities.
