Celebrated on July 28 each year, World Nature Conservation Day acknowledges that a healthy environment is a foundation for a stable and healthy society. To ensure the well-being of the present and future generations, little Presidians as responsible human beings participated in protecting and conserving nature. They found creative and interactive ways to celebrate the day which will make a huge difference in conserving the environment. They performed various activities like reusing jars and containers, making cloth bags or paper bags, replacing plastic bags, reusing paper and replacing the tissue paper with a hand towel, etc. They also pledged to plant a tree every month ensuring their friends and neighbors joined them for the same. The day not only sensitized the students towards nature but also encouraged them to save and protect Earth’s natural resources that are fast-depleting owing to over-exploitation and even misuse.
