We at Presidium believe that every religion must be respected and accepted. Students of Presidium celebrated the festival of Lohri, the harvest festival of Punjab, with a lot of enthusiasm and zeal. They were attired in traditional dresses and were absorbed in the festive spirit of Lohri. A special assembly was organized, where the students sang some folk songs and poems. The famous folklore, ‘Sunder Munderiye,’ was sung with joy. Folk songs were played to suit the mood of the festival, and soon everybody joined in the energetic rhythm! Peanuts, popcorn, and gajak were distributed, to the great delight of the children. While some offered these in the holy fire, others happily munched on them. Students participated with great zeal, enthusiasm, and enjoyed a lot.
