'Renewable energy for clean energy is the best alternative for better and brighter future.’ Akshay Urja Diwas is an awareness campaign about the development of renewable energy,celebrated on 20th August every year in India. A special assembly was conducted by the students of Grade-2 to make the school aware of the use of renewable sources of energy. They spoke about the 'Impact of Akshay Urja in India'. They shared the importance of fossil fuels which is very expensive and vets depleted very fast besides creating air pollution and global warming. They urged the students and the gathering to promote and conserve the renewable energy sources for sustainable energy supply. In the end,  all the students took an oath together to save the renewable energy(Akshay Urja) apart from the traditional energy.
