The Independence Day of India, which is celebrated religiously throughout the Country on the 15th of August every year, holds tremendous ground in the list of national days, since it reminds every Indian about the dawn of a new beginning, the beginning of an era of deliverance from the clutches of British colonialism of more than 200 years. This big day is celebrated all over the nation with great respect and pride. Presidium Pitampura celebrated this day by presenting a timeline of our freedom struggles which ended in “azadi". Beautiful dances and enactments stole the heart of audience. A heart touching poem recited by a grade 6 students, brought tears to everyone's eyes. Our honorable guests congratulated everyone for this important day and motivated children to love their country and respect the freedom.
