Dance is the hidden language of the soul, perfecting which liberates us!
To celebrate the beautiful art form and set a platform to showcase the traditional Indian classical dance forms, Presidium celebrated World Dance Day in association with Spic Macay. This Day is dedicated to dance, dancers, and dance enthusiasts. Our young Presidians presented eye-catching performances in a specially organized assembly to reveal the universality of this art form. The event commenced with the soulful classical dance followed by the presentation of an assortment of dance styles ranging from Haryanvi folk, Hip-hop, and different dance forms. Throwing light on different beautiful dance forms, our budding artists made the best out of this day! They thoroughly enjoyed the foot-tapping music along with exquisite dance forms.
The splendid event reiterated the fact that dance not only helps in expressing emotions but also relaxes our mind, body, and soul. The transcendent experience developed a deep sense of respect in students for the rich cultural heritage of India, its traditional classical dance forms; and admiration for dance as a performing art.
