The celebration of mathematics week in Presidium had a distinct flavor when students came together showcasing the diverse activities. All the students participated in displaying spirited enthusiasm, absorbing information and enjoying the stimulating exercises of the mind. Various activities were performed across all the grades to boost logical thinking and reasoning ability in students. Young students did several brainstorming and decision-making activities in small teams such as measuring things using non-standard units, creating nets of 3-D shapes, exploring fractions through food, etc. These activities provided a springboard for students to explore more and to revise their mathematical skills. The students also developed well-rounded and plausible habits of exploring.
