Human rights are a set of rights which every human is entitled to. This day is celebrated to improve the physical, social, cultural and spiritual well being and welfare of the vulnerable group of people globally. As there is no age-limit for learning about human rights and it is important that human rights education is embedded in primary schools and early childhood education as well. Keeping the importance of the day, students of grade nursery and prep got the opportunity to engage with the powerful and inspiring ideas on the rights and responsibilities as active and informed citizens. Students highlighted the theme of rights and freedoms — freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from want, and freedom from fear.
