When poets write about food, it is usually celebratory. Grade 3 students of Presidium Pitampura organised a Food fair in the school under the theme ‘Food’ in EVS. India is famous for its cultural diversity and it is said that you have to taste a culture to understand it. They learnt about the different regional foods of India and thus brought different food items from their house which were displayed in the respective state stalls. They created beautiful reading cards for their food item which was also displayed along with the food item. The students lovingly and excitedly invited the incharges and the teachers to come to their Food fair and taste the different food items. They answered the questions asked by the teachers and showed all the table manners as a good host. The students were very enthusiastic to taste the food they had brought so they all sat together and tasted different food items. It was a wonderful experience of eating together for the students and teachers both.
